Universal Pictures opened the pre-sale of tickets to the long-awaited “The Odyssey” movie, directed by Christopher Nolan, exactly one year before the official premiere, scheduled for July 17, 2026.
The initiative, focused on 70mm IMAX sessions – the filmmaker’s favorite format – resulted in almost immediate exhaustion of tickets.
The demand was so intense that many fans have struggled to secure their places, with sales sites presenting slowness and instability. In less than 24 hours, about 95% of the seats available for special sessions were sold, according to the Variety.
