Joana Almeirante and Nena have a lot in common, especially when talking about musical tastes. The passion for country music led them to create the project “2 pairs of boots”, which now led to the main stage of Meo Marés Vivas.

In an interview with SIC Notícias, they say they are very enthusiastic about this concert that, in a way, celebrates this joint work. “When we started this project we never imagined that one day we would be here and it is great to see our dreams to realize and who knows if this is only the beginning of the 2 pairs of boots.”

“We want to convey a message of great joy and I hope, above all, that people have fun in our concert. This is what we also like to convey: it is May they enjoy the moment to be with each other and I hope they will go out with a big smile on their faces, ”says Nena.

During the concert they presented for the first time the new song “Woman of Your Dreams”. “We are very enthusiastic about singing this song for the first time here on the Palco do Marés Vivas”says Joana. “I think it’s the best place to debut and we were very happy to show the song”Adds Nena.

“We can leave our city, but the city did not leave us”

With the same energy to take the stage was Beatriz Rosario. With roots of the Fado de Coimbra, mixed with a hint of contemporary sound sounds from pop and electronics, the artist goes to the Moche stage, dedicated to the new talents.

“We can leave our city, but the city did not leave us. Being here in Gaia, which is a wonderful city, and at this festival that is in my heart, is wonderful. We are also singing Fado de Coimbra, yes, we bring a tribute to my city, but we will also have a more intimate moment played by me to my grandmother.”

The performance lasted about 45 minutes and all the alignment was designed for this festival. “The concert will be very energetic and I hope people come from there, enjoy this moment and have fun with us.”

“It is not at all indifferent to me the moment played by me as a tribute to my grandmother, we bring a very special fado to the Gaia Malta.”

With this concert Beatriz wants to convey a feeling of happiness and reflection. “I want people to be in the present because there is more and more tension and anxiety of not living in the present, so what I want with this concert is that people feel in the present and live the moment. ”
