‘Proximity’

Breno Chaves Pinto was the target of search. The investigators said it is under calculation of R $ 60 million in contracts and bids for maintenance and recovery of BR-157.

“The hypothesis is that Breno used his proximity to the senator (alcohumbre) to, under the pretext of influencing in acts of public agent, obtain improper advantages,” said the judge of the 4th Federal Court of Amapá, Jucelio Fleury Neto. “Breno Chaves Pinto is considered a central figure in the criminal scheme. He was worth his political influence (second alternate Senator Davi Alcolumbre).”

DNIT Superintendent in Amapá, Marcello Vieira Linhares, appointed as “the public vertex of the scheme”, was removed from office. The defense was not located.
