The warning was given at 12:07 pm, to a fire in the Mato Zone, near the Aveleda village Montesinho Natural Park.
The fire that launched on Friday in the early afternoon in the Union of Parishes of Aveleda in the middle of Montesinho Natural Park (PNM) in the municipality of Bragança, was given as dominated, a source of civil protection told Lusa.
“The fire that launched in the PNM is dominated,” said the emergency commander and civil protection of the subregional command of the Trás-os-Montes lands, João Noel Afonso.
According to the operational, the device will remain on the ground for the aftermath of the fire.
This fire even had two active fronts that burned “a lot of intensity throughout the afternoon.”
