SIC’s commentator, António Ribeiro Cristóvão, states that the way Gyökeres leaves Sporting is “unpleasant”, especially because he was a very cherished player by the fans.
Sporting has already authorized Gyökeres to travel. The news was advanced by Fabrizio Romano, a journalist specializing in the football market, and confirmed by SIC. The Swedish is expected to arrive on Friday to London and will be subjected to usual medical examinations on Saturday.
In the antenna of SIC Notícias, commentator António Ribeiro Cristóvão considers that it is a “pity” how Gyökeres leaves Sporting, especially because he was very cherished by the fans.
“It doesn’t go well. It was unpleasant and there was no need,” he says.
Ribeiro Cristóvão adds that the agreement is “good for all parts”, but that Sporting and Frederico Varandas come out on top.
“Sporting does a great deal: a five -year contract, when finishing Gyökeres will be 32 years old and will no longer be such an appetizing player as it is now.”
