Athens- The Greek fire brigade has been fighting against several large forest and bush fires since Saturday. A major fire in particular around 25 kilometers north of the Athens city center is a problem for the emergency services. There, several houses fell victim to the flames, localities were evacuated, 27 people were brought to safety by the police. Some residents initially refused to leave their houses, the media reported.
