At least 10 people were killed and at least 60 were injured in Russian attacks in Ukraine on the last day, according to Ukrainian authorities. Officers reported attacks on the regions of Dnipropetrovsk in the center of the country, Zaporizehzia and Donetsk in the East, Kharkiv and Sumy in the Northeast and Kerson in the South.
The Ukraine Air Force reported on Saturday (26) that Russia launched 208 UAVs (unmanned air vehicles or drones) and 27 missiles at night, being the Dnipropetrovsk region the main target. Air defense slaughtered 184 UAVs and 17 missiles. Another 25 UAVs and ten missiles hit the targets.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said it had “performed a group attack with high-range weapons of high precision and unmanned air vehicles against companies of the Ukrainian Military-Industrial Complex that manufacture missile components and produce ammunition and explosives.”
“The attack has achieved its goal. All designated targets were destroyed,” the ministry added in a statement published on Telegram on Saturday (26).
Ukraine’s state emergency service reported that industrial buildings were damaged in the regions of Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv, but added that an apartment residential building was also partially destroyed in. The company also reported that three of its employees were injured in a strike soon after the arrival of their units to the scene. Two other people were injured and three emergency vehicles were damaged.
The head of the Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, also stated that there were “27 reports of damage to apartments, private houses, cars, garages and infrastructure facilities” in the region. , thanked the immediate performance of the rescuers and expressed condolences in a publication on website X on Saturday.
