According to MPDFT’s Special Action Group (Gaeco), it was the brother who would have encouraged the player to force the yellow card in the match between Flamengo and Santos. Also according to prosecutors, Bruno Henrique would have acted consciously, following Wander’s request.
Investigators point out that, after being informed by the player about the intention of bringing the card, Wander would have passed on to relatives. The Federal Police (PF) identified that Bruno Henrique’s last telephone contact before the game was precisely with his brother. A friend of Wander would then have disseminated the information to a group of gamblers, who made specific bets on the warning – who actually materialized on the field.
