Cyclist Thais Bonatti, 30, died last Saturday (26), after being run over on Thursday morning (24) by retired judge Fernando Augusto Fontes Rodrigues Júnior, 61, in the city of Araçatuba, interior of São Paulo. The report did not find Bonatti’s defense. In a note, the Santa Casa de where the victim was hospitalized, reported that Thais died at 1:27 am on Saturday. The body was sent to the Forensic Medical Institute (IML) for autopsy.

What happened
On the morning of last Thursday (24), the judge was aboard his Ford Ranger model truck, when he stopped the vehicle near a supermarket on Waldemar Alves Avenue, in the Jardim Presidente neighborhood. He was accompanied by a woman who, at the moment the car was stopped, would have tried to pass to her lap, according to the report. The retired judge would then have accelerated the car and passed with the truck over Thais Bonatti, who was bicycle near the vehicle.
The victim was taken in serious condition to Santa Casa de Araçatuba, where he did not resist and died on Saturday.
