How to get the best places on the plane without paying: Passenger sharing trick little known

Plane travel can become more comfortable and no additional costs thanks to a trick shared by a UK travel expert. Chelsea Dickenson revealed, quoted by the Daily Express newspaper, that postponing online check-in until the last few hours before the flight can guarantee better places, including front lines or more leg-space seats.

Simple trick

With years of experience traveling by plane on a low-cost regime, Chelsea says he often gets privileged places without spending an extra cent. “After so many flights on low-cost companies, I learned how they work. And the most curious thing is that, leaving the check-in to the end, I almost always have a good place,” he said.

Still, not all passengers will benefit from this approach. For those traveling in a group or family, it will be best to check in as early as possible, as, according to the same source, most companies, except Ryanair, tries to keep the groups sitting together as long as there are places available side by side.

How does the method work?

The trick consists of waiting up to about six hours before the match to check on online. At this point, it is more likely that only the places considered “good” is remained: by the window, with additional legs for the legs or the first lines of the cabin.

However, Chelsea warns that this method requires attention and discipline. “It’s important to keep your head cold, have your phone charged and know exactly what time checks the check-in. It may vary depending on the company,” he explained, adding that he defines alarms so as not to forget to monitor the map of places in hours before boarding.

According to the same source, this trick is especially effective on flights with companies like Ryanair and Wizz Air. In the case of Easyjet or British Airways, there is no clear tendency to attribute the worst places to those who check in early.

It is not recommended for everyone

Although it can save between 10 and 20 euros per flight, the method is not recommended to those who are easily led by travel anxiety. According to the newspaper, the risk of being separated from other passengers from the same reserve, or even having a less comfortable place, continues to exist.

For those traveling alone and want to avoid queues to get off the plane, this trick can be a simple and effective way to ensure a quieter and more extra experience.
