Who is Hugo Mallo and why did not Sao Paulo not want to hire him?
Hugo Mallo is a 34-year-old Spanish right-back, currently working at Greece. The player is the product of Celta de Vigo’s base offspring, a club that acted from 2009 to 2023.
Between 2023 and 2024, he had a visit to Internacional, where he played in 21 games and scored two goals. It has been in Greek football since 2024.
The player would have been offered to São Paulo by his representatives, but Tricolor was not interested in hiring. The reasons were not exposed.

The case happened in Spain in 2019, when he was a Vigo Celtic player. Before a match against the Spaniard at Cornella-El Prat Stadium, Hugo Mallo took the woman’s breasts that dressed as a mascot of the Catalan team at the time of the exchange of greetings among the players.
