Innsbruck/Vienna – The Austrian Alpine Association (ÖAV) locates an increasing “ruthlessness” in its huts. Therefore, together with the partner organizations from Germany and South Tyrol, an updated “Hüttenknigge” with ten rules was published. This is intended to sensitize guests to respect and responsible behavior on the mountain and, in particular, provide information on problematic trends such as double reservations or high resource consumption.
