The United States Contingency Plan does not include tax exemption measures for companies, Farm Minister Fernando Haddad told CNN This Tuesday (29).
Among the measures presented to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) to deal with the impacts of the 50%fare, is directed to small, medium and large companies.
In an interview with CNN On Tuesday (29), Finance Minister Fernando Haddad said the package includes short, medium and long term proposals to deal with the impact of tariffs on the Brazilian economy.
“It has structuring measures to strengthen exports to reformulate government programs aimed at small, large and medium -sized export guidelines, diversify trading partnerships. It has from structural things to short -term measures, which is relief to harshly affected companies and are unable to face this challenge,” Haddad said.
The minister compared the proposal of relief to companies affected by the tariff to the National Program for Support for Solidarity Small Microenterprises and Small Businesses (Pronampe), created to offer credit to entrepreneurs affected by floods in Rio Grande do Sul.
“These companies will get partnerships with other countries. There is no doubt about that, but they will not be able to do it next month,” he said.
The package has already been presented to the Planalto Palace and is waiting for the endorsement of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT). The 50% rate comes into force next Friday (1st).
