Méliuz reported on Monday that he appointed American Mason Foard as director of Bitcoin strategy to lead the company’s efforts to attract new investors in the United States and create and execute potential financial instruments.
“Mason was a pioneer in the adoption of Bitcoin as a strategic reserve and is widely recognized as one of the most respected influencers of the United States crypto community,” Méliuz said in a statement to the market.
Méliuz has a long -term plan to invest in cryptocurrency and make Bitcoin the main strategic asset of its treasury. Last month, the company bought 275.43 Bitcoins for $ 28.61 million, after completion of an offering of shares that aimed to raise funds for the acquisition of cryptors, starting to deter 595.67 Bitcoins.
