These statements come as Gislein Maxwell’s legal team said he would testify before Congress about what he knows about the case only if strict legal protection is granted to her.
As the BBC reveals, her legal team said she would only testify if she is given immunity or grace and if she receives the questions in advance.
Trump and Estain broke out in the early 2000s, after a friendship that lasted more than ten years.
The case comes in the midst of increasing pressure on Trump officials and increasing frustration over the way the government is handling the issue, including failure to deliver the rumored “Customer List”.
Trump had promised to disclose such documents about the strong interconnected perpetrator during his election campaign last year. However, in a memorandum earlier this month, the Ministry of Justice and the FBI said there was no “blame” list.
