Hunted with QR codes, characters inspired by acrea folklore and awards. This is the proposal of Expo Go, an initiative created to streamline the industry space during ExpoAcre 2025 and encourage the public to know local business in a fun and interactive way. Contilnet brought more details of the project on Wednesday (30).
“Expo GO was designed to make the tour more interesting and the more democratic space,” explains Caio Almeida, innovation manager and vice president of the Mercosur Amazonia Institute.

The dynamics are simple: visitors find QR codes spread across the booths and accumulate points at scan.
In addition to the QR Codes, the project created mascots inspired by fauna and acrea folklore.
“There’s the map, which is Mapinguari, the boot, a pink butt, and the Takaka, which is a track. The idea is that people ‘capture’ these rare animals, which are worth ten points, as if they were Pokémon,” says Caio.
According to him, public acceptance is being excellent:
“It’s really cool to see the crowd running with the phone, exchanging tips and interacting. Gamification has made people circulate more, connect with each other and especially know the ventures that may go unnoticed,” he said.
Each code is worth two points, which can be exchanged for gifts in the official game tent.
