InfoMoney debuts program “Root of Business”, in partnership with The Agribiz

Debut this Friday (1) the program “Root of Business”, initiative fruit of partnership between the Infomoney and the site specializing in agribusiness The Agribusiness. The goal is to bridge a bridge between the sector – one of the most important in the Brazilian economy – with the capital market, that is, paving a bridge between the countryside and Faria Lima.

Sector pulls the economy

Expanding the production of agro -focused content makes perfect sense when you think of your contribution to the Brazilian economy. Last year, the sum of goods and services generated in agribusiness reached R $ 2.72 trillion, almost 1/4 of the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2024.

And the sector absorbs practically 1 of every 3 Brazilian workers. Until the fourth quarter of 2024, 26% (28.2 million) out of 108.4 million Brazilian workers were agribusiness, according to data from the Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation (CNA).
