Rodrigo Bessa assumes as general manager of Salesforce in Brazil

Salesforce () announced, this Friday (1), Rodrigo Bessa as new general manager in Brazil. The eight-year-old executive at AWS, Amazon, and 11 years at IBM enters the position that was interim occupied by Andres Prieto, executive vice president of the company in Latin America, since the departure of Fabio Costa from last year.

Bessa enters office with the mandate of strengthening relationships with clients and partners and boosting business growth with the adoption of artificial intelligence agents. “Our goal is to consolidate Salesforce as the strategic partner for the growth of companies in such a dynamic and promising market as the Brazilian,” he said.

At AWS, he held the position of Director of Companies and Financial Services for two years, until he became Vice President of Salesforce. From 2010 to 2017 he was IBM sales manager in markets such as China and Czech Republic. He has a degree in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and has specializations for MIT Professional Education and Harvard Business School Executive Education.
