In August, plants should stop with releasing delicate shoots. Withdrawal of nitrogen fertilizer helps them prepare for healthy and safe wintering.

In August, we do not stop fertilization, but only change products to such rich in phosphorus and potassium. This first element is responsible for strengthening the root system, and the second for increasing resistance to adverse weather conditions.
So let’s choose autumn or universal fertilizers with a small dose of nitrogen. Thanks to them, the plants will wooden and survive the winter without problems.
