Iran has expanded its uranium inventory enriched to levels close to that of weaponry shortly before the Israeli military attack of June 13, according to a confidential report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (AIEA) seen by the Associate Press.
On June 13, Tehran accumulated 440.9 pounds of uranium enriched up to 60%, 32.3 pounds more than in May. This material is at a 90% technical step required for weapon level. The AIA recalls that about 42 pounds enriched at 60% would be enough to produce an atomic bomb if high to 90%.
The document stated that Iran and AIEA did not agree on the resumption of inspections in places bombarded by Israel and US in June. Israel stated that it has aimed nuclear and military facilities to prevent the development of atomic weapons. Iran, in turn, insists that the program is peaceful.

AIEA Director-General Rafael Grossi said that “the technical modalities to allow the full resumption of the agency’s inspections must be completed without delay.” The agency considered the Iranian decision to cut “deeply unfortunate” cooperation.
