“The purchase of home ownership is the dream of 87% of Brazilians, according to the Quintoandar Housing Census. But the process to gain this dream is full of pain, such as the need to gather the value of the entrance – which is equivalent to more than two years of a family’s average income – besides the low financial education, evidenced by the difficulty of the Brazilian in saving money,” Marcelo Nelzow, director of fifth business, in an interview with Infoomney.

The company has the goal of serving, by the end of the year, more than 1500 customers in the initial group, originating the equivalent of R $ 500 million in consortium letters. The available contracts will have a period of 15 years (180 months) – the same time the partner was signed between Quintoandar and Bamaq Consortia.

Rates

The consortium has no interest, but is corrected annually – which increases the amount of total credit, but also the value of the installments. Traditionally real estate consortia are corrected by the INCC (National Construction Cost Index), today in 7.19% in the last 12 months. In the case of the Quintoandar consortium, the correction will follow its own rate, set at 3% per year.

In addition, there is the payment of the administration fee, which is characteristic of this model. In the case of Quintoandar’s product, the rate is 22%.
