The Italian master photographer Gianni Berengo Gardin died in Genoa on August 7 at the age of 94. He was considered one of the most important Italian photographers. His black and white recordings are among the best known and most widespread images worldwide. Especially photos of monumental cruise ships in the Venice lagoon were world -famous.
