Meet Maya Haddad’s opponent Maya in Cincinnati debut

Brazilian Bia Haddad Maia will return to the courts next Saturday (9), still without set hours, for the second round of Cincinnati’s WTA 1000, in the United States. Her rival will be 19 -year -old Australian Maya Joint.

Born in the United States, Maya is the daughter of Australian father and has represented the country since 2023. At the end of that year, she pledged to the University of Texas, but later gave up on university tennis to focus on the professional.
