GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of the State of São Paulo advanced 2% from January to May 2025 compared to the same period of 2024, according to data from the Seade Foundation.
The result was pulled by the agriculture sector, which grew 7.7%. The service sector also performed well, with growth of 3.2% in the initial 5 months of the year.
In the accumulated 12 months with ending in May, compared to 12 months immediately previous, Paulista GDP grew 2.9%. Highlight for the advancement of service sectors (3.6%) and industry (0.6%).
