Two people died after the crash of a small plane in the municipality of Santo Amaro, on Saturday afternoon (9). The aircraft belonged to state deputy Francisco Nagib (PSB-MA). The accident happened in the region of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, near the city of Santo Amaro (MA). In images that circulate on social networks, you can see the aircraft partially destroyed and head -up.
One of the occupants was identified as Victor Manoel Britto, who was driving the plane at the time of the accident. Nagib lamented Manoel’s departure calling him “a young man in love, in love, with so many dreams ahead” and “a very close friend that aviation presented me.” Victor was accompanied by a woman who did not have her identity revealed. The causes of the accident follow under investigation by the authorities.
