The program converts health plans debts with the Union into specialized care, without generating additional costs. It is estimated that about 3,500 institutions are in this situation, totaling R $ 34.1 billion in debt.
The goal is to accelerate tests and surgeries in regions where public demand is not fully met.
In all, they will be R $ 5.5 billion intended for 3 fronts:
- direct hiring private services by states and municipalities, with federal resources (R $ 2 billion/year);
- service in public units for idle periods, with teams and inputs provided by the private network (R $ 2.5 billion/year);
- mobile services With trailers that will bring specialized care to remote areas, such as indigenous and quilombola territories (R $ 1 billion).
