Miami/San Juan – Erin is the first hurricane of this year’s Atlantic season. As announced by the US hurricane center (NHC) in Miami, it moves with persistent wind speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour northeast of the small Antilles towards the west. According to the meteorologists, Erin will probably develop into a strong hurricane and get closer to the islands above the winds southeast of Puerto Rico.
