According to an unnamed high representative of the US government, the meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Greenland could take place in Hungary. The server Magyarnemzet.hu noted in this context that one of the reasons in favor of such a decision could be that the Hungarian Parliament approved Hungary from the International Criminal Court (ICC) in May. This organization based in the Hague had previously issued an arrest warrant for Putin, and thus the authorities of the ICC member countries should arrest the Russian President.
Péter Magyar, chairman of the non -parliamentary party Tisza (respect and freedom) on Facebook, said that at a meeting of the American and Ukrainian President, as well as European leaders, “painfully missed a peace warrior”.
