For the first time, the basic model of the family brings a triple camera system, accompanied by the new G5 Tensor Processor, a chip developed by the company itself. The series has 3 devices: pixel 10, pixel 10 pro and pixel 10 pro xl.
The pixel 10 received an unprecedented configuration with telephoto lens, which allows 5x optical zoom (approximation without quality loss) and digital zoom up to 20x through the resource Super Res Zoomtechnology that uses artificial intelligence to improve image sharpness. The set includes a 48 MP angular camera (megapixels) with faster focus on low light environments and a 13 MP ultrawide sensor, which captures more open angles.
Pro models expand photographic specifications. They feature 50 MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (Ois), which reduces tremors, as well as a 50 MP telephoto camera, capable of 5x optical zoom and digital zoom of up to 100x.
On the screen part, the pixel 10 and pixel 10 Pro keep 6.3 inch displays, while the pixel 10 Pro XL arrives with 6.8 inches. All devices receive the new panel “Act”, which reaches a maximum shine of 3,000 nits on pixel 10 and 3,300 nits on pro. NIT models is the brightness unit of the screen.
The G5 Tensor Chip, accompanied by the Titan M2 security processor and a new image processing unit (ISP), promises 34% advances in CPU performance (the Central Processing Unit, responsible for performing tasks) and 60% in TPU (the tensile processing unit, dedicated to artificial intelligence) compared to the previous generation. The line keeps Gemini as a standard virtual assistant, now with expanded functions such as the Magic Cuewhich displays contextual information during calls or conversations.
Prices are still close to last generation: $ 799 ($ 4,480) for pixel 10, $ 999 ($ 5,601) for pixel 10 pro and $ 1,199 ($ 6,726) for Pro XL, which has initial storage of 256 GB (gigabytes). Google has not yet reported when and in which markets will be available for sale.
