Growing pressure on government -critical media in Serbia

Belgrade/Novi Sad – The confrontation course of the Serbian government with critical media continues. Although government-critical media have never been popular at the Serbian Progress Party (SNS), which had been ruling since 2012, and the national student and civil protests, which had been persistent for more than nine months, have now transformed this aversion into an open hostility. This was how President Aleksandar Vucic recently called the TV channels N1 and Nova.
