Italian Court of Appeal today ratified the arrest of a Ukrainian man who is suspected by the German authorities as a coordinator of the group who in the three gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea in 2022, his lawyer said.

The 49 -year -old man, whose full name was announced in court, but is referred to as Sergi K., according to German privacy law, was arrested on Thursday near the Italian city of Rimini with a European arrest warrant.

The Bologna Court of Appeal, about 120 kilometers northwest of Rimini, announced that it will meet again on September 3 to consider its possible version in Germany, although the decision may not be taken on the same day.
