For this reason, the cut should be carried outin June or in July, i.e. right after the floweringu. This will allow the plant to tie new shoots before the onset of lower temperatures and develop them next season.

A less popular variety, which sometimes appears in our gardens, is Itoh peony, or hybrid of perennial and woody variety. In the case of care, it shows the same needs as perennial species. For this reason, we cut her in mid -November.
