He decided to anticipate the decision on the Lula government’s departure and marked Tuesday (2) meeting of its national executive that should approve the delivery of positions in federal management.
One of the reasons that led the party to accelerate the process was to Ministers Celso Sabino (Tourism), from União, and André Fufuca (Sport), from the PP, to support his government. Lula also said he did not like the president of União Brasil, Antonio Rueda.
“Given yesterday’s statements from President Lula, we consider that it became more urgent to resolve this situation definitively. You can no longer wait,” says Union Vice President ACM Neto.
The initial schedule of the Federation between the Union and PP, announced last week, was to make a decision at the end of the year, after the arrangement was approved by the TSE. But the facts imposed themselves, they say leaders of the two associations.
The tendency is to approve the immediate departure of the government, which will force Sabino and others nominated at smaller posts to leave their positions, at risk of being punished.
The guideline does not apply to Ministers Waldez Goes (regional development) and Frederico Siqueira (communications), which are nominated by Senate President David Alcolumbre (Union-AP), but are not affiliated with the caption.
The Union also chose to make its decision regardless of the PP, partner in the Federation. A member of the national board denied whether the PP delivered the command of Caixa Econômica Federal, which was nominated by the former mayor Arthur Lira (AL).
