“It’s an album that talks a lot about not feeling belonging, whether at home, in places, in certain environments, in groups, and it’s a feeling that I carry from a child,” he reveals. “And I felt that I was at a completely disconnected phase of my intuition. And as an artist, your intuition is the most important thing and is a daily practice. It’s not a connection you get and are done. You have to be practicing for you to have a job that surprises you and that puts you at risk for right work.”
Debuting in music, Lara confessed to CNN That he thought his personality was not very much with this universe, although he began to take singing class very early and grew up in a musical house.
“I dreamed of being a singer, I dreamed a lot, but I didn’t have the courage to follow this dream for a long time, because I was very afraid,” he explained. “I was always more reserved. I thought my personality did not match this kind of career. But over the years I have been studying, improving and realized that my desire to do was much greater than my fears and insecurities. I still have, but they don’t control me and don’t lock me anymore.”
“In the world of the moon” has 11 songs, of which three had already been released by Lara: “When everything fits”, “Romance False” and “Our Star”. Lara said she is eager to see how the audience will receive the new wave of songs, especially those that bring an even more intimate perspective.
“The most vulnerable, more personal songs are on the album. And these songs are more excited to see how the audience reacts, how they identify with these compositions, especially ‘thousand versions’ and ‘infinite cycle’,” she said and then adding tracks like “bad days” and “unconditional” to the list.
