A Federal Court of California has declared illegal the order of the Government of Donald Trump to display members of the National Guard and the Marines in the city of Los Angeles to contain the protests that had been unleashed in response to the migratory raids.
The judge responsible for the case, Charles Breyer, has concluded that The central administration violated a law of the nineteenth century that prohibits the deployment of military forces on American land for internal security issuesso he cannot resort to any of the troops who can still continue in California, reports CBS News.
The judge thus responds to a complaint filed in June by the state governor, Gavin Newsom, who had accused Trump of exceeding his powers for political reasons, in a pulse between the federal administration and the premises that has been transferred in months after other scenarios such as Washington DC.
Trump claimed that The deployment of the National Guard had been essential to control mobilizations that, according to him, were already out of control in Los Angeles. Likewise, he has presumed that the sending of troops to Washington has already contributed to reduce the crime rate.
This same Tuesday, the president has stated again to Chicago as the next objective, even ensuring that it is already “the most dangerous city in the world”, and has promised that “it will fix the problem.”
