The security team of the (Supreme Federal Court) made inspections and before the trial of the former president (PL) by the coup plot, on Tuesday (2).
The teams also used drones to monitor the area near the Supreme before the first day of trial, and judicial police officers and cars patrolled in the areas near the court building.
Singlers were used in the first class plenary and other places where there are circulation of people.
The day before, the areas underwent a visual inspection and scanning equipment. Then they passed the sealed dawn and were inspected by the dogs in the morning.
Since last week, the safety of the Supreme, the restriction of access to Praça dos Três Powers and the reinforcement of policing in the court, with agents sleeping at the Court’s headquarters.
The Supreme Court requested about 30 court police officers spread throughout Brazil and foresees to use all its judicial police force in the special security scheme for the former president’s trial and seven other defendants in the coup plot.
Police officers requested from other courts are at the court’s headquarters in, where a dorm was improvised for them to stay 24 hours a day. They sleep in bunk beds and are available for when there is need.
The assessment of members of the Court is that the reinforcement in the staff is necessary in view of what the Court and its ministers have suffered due to the trial of the coup plot, as well as the possibility of eventual conviction of Bolsonaro.
