Ethics Council establishes 14 cases against deputies

The Council of Ethics and Decor of the Chamber of Deputies instituted, this Thursday (2.Set.2025), 14 disciplinary proceedings against 10 deputies for breach of decorum. The leader of the PT, (RJ), as well as names such as (Avante-MG), (União-SP) and (PSOL-MG) are targeted.

The representations were presented by different parties, with justifications that include verbal offenses, discriminatory attacks and even physical aggression. The PL formalized 6 lawsuits against PT, PSOL and Avante deputies, while the PT presented 4 representations against the PL. PSOL filed 3 lawsuits against members of PL, PSD and União Brasil, and the new registered 1 representation.

One of the most serious cases involves a representation against (PL-PA). He is suspected of physically a militant during a meeting of the Human Rights Commission in July. Another case involves Mrs Celia Xakriabá, who according to the PL would have “Advanced with a pen” Against Kim Kataguiri in the plenary, hurting (PL-PE).

• André Janones is accused of offense to the chamber and abuse of prerogatives for wearing a profanity t -shirt; The deputy is also the subject of a PL request for posting offenses against Deputy Gustavo Gayer (PL-GO) on social networks and for asking servers to return part of the salaries to favor his campaign;
• The PT is responsible (PL-GO) for offensive and misogynous posts against Minister Gleisi Hoffmann (institutional relations) and other women;
• The new accuses Deputy Lindbergh Farias (PT-RJ) for publicizing false imputations against the deputy (Novo-RS) on social networks;
• The PT made an application against Gilvan of the Federal (PL-ES) for inciting violence against the president (PT) at a committee meeting and offensive attacks against Gleisi Hoffmann at a session of the Public Security Commission; The party also accuses delegate Éder Mauro (PL-PA) for physical aggression to citizen at a meeting of the Human Rights Commission;
• The PL accuses Deputy Lindbergh Farias (PT-RJ) of offenses to Deputy Gustavo Gayer and defends his cassation; The party also filed an application in which it liable (PSOL-SP) for offending parliamentarians at a meeting of the Ethics Council;
• PSOL accuses (PL-MT) for offensive and discriminatory speech against (PSOL-SP); The party also filed a representation against R (PSD-PR) for a threatening comment against pastor (PSOL-RJ) at a meeting of the Public Security Commission;
• There are 2 processes about the discussion between Kim Kataguiri and Célia Xakriabá: PSOL filed a representation against Kataguiri accusing him of racist and prejudiced attacks against Xakriabá; Already the PL accuses Xakriabá for aggression during riot in the plenary, saying that she injured both Kataguiri and Colonel Meira (PL-PE).
