A ferry that carried diesel and gasoline caught fire on the afternoon of Wednesday (3) in the municipality of Porto Walter, interior of Acre. Despite the fright and severity of the case, there was no record of injuries.

City Hall teams were called and work in controlling the flames. However, the fire has not yet been fully contained and the situation continues to be at risk, as the vessel was loaded with highly flammable fuel.
So far, there is no information on what would have caused the fire. The authorities follow the case and must determine the circumstances of the accident.
