A survey recently made by the SaneAcre revealed that the default rate by consumers of Sena Madureira is still very high. This problem is old, where most system users are not regularly paying the water bill.

According to Adjerbisson Mendonça, coordinator of SaneAcre in Sena, among residential consumers the default rate reaches 88%. “Unfortunately it is a very high percentage. We ask residents to look for our office to regularize the situation. As the accounts are paid, this feature is reversed to the community itself in improvements in the supply system,” he said.

In order to reduce this index, the State Government has been conducting the “Regularize” campaign, whereby consumers will be able to install debts up to 30 times. “In this case, the installment is made without interest and fines. This is an excellent opportunity for the consumer to remedy their debts,” he added.

The campaign will extend until December. The SaneAcre office is located in front of the post office and the team serves the audience from 7 am to 2 pm. This year, the government made an important investment in the Sena Madureira SaneAcre, exchanging the water capture pump.

Even in the face of this critical period, motivated by the strong summer, drinking water supply is being done regularly and there is no risk of rationing.
