The police are investigating Especially serious crime of murder at an attemptwhich occurred in the village of Boťany in the district of Trebišov. A notice was received on line 158 on attacking a 17-year-old young man with a sharp object. Police and rescuers immediately headed for the incident, who took the injured into their care. TASR informed the spokeswoman of the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Košice Lenka Ivanová.
The incident occurred after a verbal exchange between a young man and a 41-year-old woman. She was supposed to stab him in the chest area and then escape from the place. The police found a suspect in a short time and showed it to the district department. The woman was also under the influence of alcohol and other narcotic drugs and was unable to undergo a breath test. The young man measured 1.63 per mille in breath. According to a preliminary medical report, he suffered injuries with the expected treatment time for more than 42 days.
“Given that the attack was directed to a vital authority, lungs, and the injured young man is a protected person in accordance with the Criminal Code, the case was taken over by the investigator of the Criminal Police Department of the Regional Directorate of the Police Force,” a spokeswoman added.
The woman suspected of committing the deed has limited personal freedom and the necessary procedural acts are underway. The accusation has not yet been raised. “By providing any closer or more detailed information, further investigation could be frustrated or more difficult, so we will not provide more information for the time being.
