Exclusive area of the protocol does not shut up will make a reception and guidance in cases of harassment and violence; Bus SP by all will be referred to organs such as Women’s Police Station
The Government of São Paulo announced measures to reinforce women’s security during the festival, held on Saturday (6), Sunday (7) and also on September 12, 13 and 14 at the Interlagos Autodrome, in São Paulo. The opening occurred yesterday, with the main attraction. Among the initiatives is the installation of an exclusive area of the protocol does not shut up, focused on reception and guidance in cases of violence.
The space will work in a tent on the lawn of the event and will have a trained team for service. All professionals who work at the festival – cleaning the reception – underwent training to work according to the protocol.
The SP bus for all, maintained by the Policies Secretariat for Women, will also be at the scene from 11am to 3am. The vehicle offers humanized service, guidance on rights and complaint channels, as well as referral to organs such as women’s police stations and public defender. The program operates in both large events and neighborhoods with high social vulnerability rates.
Created in August 2023, the protocol does not shut up seeking to standardize ways of welcoming and supporting women in public and private places. Already the SP Movement by all brings together different state policies aimed at protection and female autonomy.
Reinforced security
The police operation at The Town foresees the performance of 3.2 thousand agents and 1,100 vehicles, as well as the use of drones to monitor the race track perimeter. There will be magazine stations, access control, motorized rounds and a mobile unit of the Tourist Care Police Station (Deatur) to record occurrences.
According to the Military Police, teams will have police fluent in other languages and women available for specialized care in cases of sexual harassment.
