Monday do not forget umbrellas: In these parts of Slovakia you have to count with storms

• SHMI warns of storms.
• Storms are expected on Monday, especially in Central and Eastern Slovakia.
• Wind speed can reach up to 85 kilometers per hour.

Storms may occur in most of Slovakia on Monday (8. 9.). This applies in particular to central and eastern Slovakia. This is pointed out by the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMI), which issued a first level warning. Informs about it on his website.

The alerts concern the entire Košice, Prešov, Žilina and Banská Bystrica regions and districts Ilava, Považská Bystrica, Prievidza and Púchov.

According to meteorologists, however, there is little probability of storms associated with a sharp downpour with an intensity of 20 to 30 millimeters in 30 minutes, with impacts Wind with a speed of 65 to 85 kilometers per hour and with hail.
