Carlo Ancelotti starred on Monday an unusual moment during the press conference for Bolivia x Brazil, valid for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Kiyomi Nakamura, Japanese journalist based in Brazil, began to ask a Portuguese question to the Italian coach.

Noticing some difficulty, he commented that he would have no problem if Kiyomi chose to formulate the issue in English if he felt more comfortable.

“You can talk about English,” he offered.

“In Portuguese is better,” replied the reporter, apologizing for being wrapped around.

“Okay. Your Portuguese is like mine,” he said in a humorous way, laughing from the journalists present.

“More or less. That’s why we understand each other,” he added, generating even more laughs in the room.

Remember that you have been striving to speak Portuguese and already risks some phrases, mixing your tongue with Spanish and Italian.

“I’ll start calmly. I was a little nervous,” admitted reporter Kiyomi Nakamura.

“We are not in a hurry. Be calm,” replied the coach of the national team, who is in his second gaming window in front of Brazil.

The question was precisely about this period: what had been the biggest surprise so far?

“I think the good thing about this date was to meet new players here. I like this because our athletes helped the team play well against Chile. I didn’t know Douglas Santos and he made a great match against Chile. I really liked him, as well as Luiz Henrique when he entered. The goal was to win, to know the players and, in this sense, the goal was fulfilled,” replied the Italian.

With 28 points won in 17 rounds, Brazil is already classified for the next World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
