When asked about the obstacles to achieve peace in Ukrainian territory, Trump has limited himself to saying that “they are losing between five and seven thousand soldiers per week for no reason.”
The Republican President has pronounced these words upon his return from New York, where he has gone to the United States Open, and on a day he has pointed to approve a new round of sanctions against the Kremlin.

A numerical superiority of 3 to 1 on the front
In addition, the head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Sirski, has revealed on the morning of this Monday that the Russian forces have a numerical superiority in men and technical media from 3 to 1 with respect to the Ukrainian army. In the priority front areas for Russia, where the Russian army concentrates more effective, this superiority becomes up to 4 and even 6 to 1, he added.
The Chief of the Ukrainian army said, however, that his troops have managed to stabilize the axes where the situation had deteriorated more for the Ukrainians. SIRSKI referred in particular to the fronts of Dobropilia, Pokrovsk, Novopavlovsk and Limán.
In the Axes of Dobropilia, the Ukrainian forces recovered 25.5 square kilometers in August. On the other hand, the Russians conquered in this front 13.5 square kilometers of territory. In the front of Pokrovsk Ukraine last month won 26 kilometers of territory, while the Russians took 5 square kilometers.
Also in August, Russian troops managed to penetrate small groups behind the Ukrainian lines in the urban agglomerations zone of Pokrovsk and Mirnogra, in the Donetsk region. According to SIRSKI on Monday, the Ukrainian army has managed to neutralize this threat and avoid the breakdown of the front or that the Ukrainian troops were surrounded.
