According to investigators, containers used in scientific research began to be purchased on a large scale through digital platforms, raising suspicions about their destination.
With technical support from Cyberlab (Ministry of Justice Cyber Operations Laboratory), 77 users who bought between 200 thousand and 1.8 million units over 2024. In the state of Rio de Janeiro alone, 11 buyers acquired more than 3.3 million tubes.
