An act of courage marked last Sunday in Saint-Jean, Oise, France. A fire launched in a residential building and left a resident trapped on the porch. Even before the firefighters arrived, a group of young people from the neighborhood did not hesitate to risk their lives to save the woman.
According to the testimony of Alison Hoeppe, aunt of one of the heroes, the nephew realized the smoke in the distance and ran to the scene. “When he realized that the fire was very strong, he touched the doorbell to alert who was inside the building,” he said on Facebook, where he also shared impressive images of the moment.
Quickly, the young man identified that there was someone stuck on the porch. Without thinking twice, he climbed the facade along with a friend. On the ground, other young people joined the strength to help hold the woman during the descent.
Thanks to the quick action and courage of these young people, the resident was rescued safely.
