Criminal Jhonatan laughed at 29-year-old Almeida Nunes, known as “Blonde”, died after fleeing and pointing a firearm against military police from the 2nd Battalion on Tuesday afternoon (9) in Rio Branco. His partner, WNM, 28, was arrested. The pair had stolen a motorcycle and tried to commit new crimes. The occurrence took place at Rodolfo Barbosa Leite Street, near Anita Garibaldi School, in the Triangulo Velho neighborhood, region of the second district.
According to the Military Police, the two had stolen, on the night of Monday (8), a Yamaha Motor Motorcycle, gray, belonging to a delivery man in the second district. Already this Tuesday, the vehicle was seen circulating in the area of the 1st Battalion. Upon returning to the second district, he was accompanied by a Tactical garrison. The chase stretched out on Amadeo Barbosa Avenue and then Via Chico Mendes, until the criminals abandoned the motorcycle and fled towards Rodolfo Barbosa Leite Street.

During the escape, “Blonde”, who carried a pistol, pointed the gun at the police and was shot before firing. The gun, which was crawled, fell by the body.
WN still tried to run, but was reached, arrested and placed in a PM car. He was taken unharmed to the Flagrant Police Station (Defla), where he will remain available to the court.

The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) sent an advanced support ambulance to the site. “Loirinho” even received care, but could not resist his injuries and died in the scene of the confrontation.
Police from the 2nd Battalion cordoned off the area until the arrival of the criminal expertise, which collected evidence. Upon completion of expert work, the scene was released.
The case will be investigated initially by the Civil Police Recent Team (EPE) and, later, passed on to the Homicide and Personnel Protection Police Station (DHPP).
