The wait is close to ending. After canceling the 2025 edition, Football Manager has announced the release date of FM 26 and the game is already available at some online stores. However, there are always many doubts about how to access the soccer simulator in Brazil, as the product of Sega and Sports Interactive is not licensed in Brazilian territory.
There are, however, some ways to circumvent this problem. Sporting News shows below.
Marton Shop
This is the favorite method of many users for simplicity. Just get the game from the Marton Shop website, which, in turn, will buy the license in another country and activate the game directly from your Steam library. The advantage, in this case, is being able to play the Manager Football directly on Steam and Steam Deck. There are two activation options:
1. Activation in your current Steam account
To receive Football Manager directly at the Library on your current Steam profile, you need to provide data from your Steam account to Marton Shop, including login and password. This part makes many users suspicious, and makes sense.
However, there are several reports of experienced gamers attesting to the reliability of Marton Shop, which offers this process since the 2017 edition, when FM has stopped being sold in Brazil. Therefore, they are years of credibility among those aficionados by the soccer simulator. And after the game is activated, just change the Steam password.
Step by step:
- Access the Marton Shop website and buy with the option “Activation in Current Account”
- Provide the data from your Steam account: You will have to give the login and password of your Steam account for a short time for Marton Shop to activate the game.
- Wait for activation: After activation, the game will be available in your Steam library.
- Install and play: Open the Steam app, locate the Manager Football in your library and download it to start playing
2. Activation in a new Steam account
If you do not have confidence to pass your Steam’s “starting” account data, Marton Shop also offers the option of it itself to create a new Steam account, to activate Football Manager in this new account created and then send the buyer the login and password data of this new account that can later be customized and have the changed login data.
Step by step:
- Access the Marton Shop website and buy with the option “Activation in New Account”
- Wait for receiving the login and password data from the new account created by Marton Shop
- Install and play: Open the Steam app, do it with the new account, locate the Manager Football in your library and download it to start playing
- Customize the new account (optional): Change account data, including password and login
Purchase directly from Steam
Basically, it is possible for user to do everything that Marton Shop does. The process, however, can be complex and not much cheaper, and there may be a problem with cards. So let’s divide into two steps:
Changing the Steam account of country
It is necessary to change your Brazilian Steam account to a country where Football Manager is available. But before that, it is worth researching game prices in each country to find the cheapest option. With the choice made, it is necessary to use a reliable VPN to stay connected to the chosen country throughout the process.
To change the country’s Steam account, however, it is necessary to buy a game (it can be the cheapest). Once this is done, it will be possible to purchase the Manager Football. To return Steam’s account to Brazil (not to depend on VPN), however, you need to buy another game (again, it can be the cheapest). In the end, there will be two extra purchases to be able to purchase the FM. Read the following step, however, to escape the problems regarding payment.
Steam
credit card – In some countries, it is not possible to make the purchase by credit card, the most common for online purchases. This is because, even if your credit card is international, it will be linked to the country of origin. With this, in some countries, negotiation will not be accepted.

- Payment: Credit cards can be prevented; If this happens, make the purchase with a Steam or Paypal Gift Card (if the country accepts);
- Return the account to Brazil: Buy a new game (it can be the cheapest) and return to Steam in Brazil to be able to play daily
Game Pass
If you are a Game Pass subscriber, Football Manager is usually available without any extra charge. To do this, simply change your Windows settings to a country where the game is available (United States, for example) and then add FM to your game library. The game will continue available after returning Windows settings to Brazil.
Despite the simple process, there are reports, however, from cases where the platform identifies the irregularity and the game disappears from the library without any warning.
