Back to Atlético, the Argentine coach Jorge Sampaoli signed a contract with the Rooster until December 2027. According to the website “Goal.com”, the Sampaoli cost and its coaching staff in the club is R $ 2.3 million gross per month.
The net value is about $ 1.6 million per month. With the agreement, Sampaoli and the coaching staff occupied the second position in the salary of coaches in Brazilian football, behind only Abel Ferreira at Palmeiras. The Portuguese receives R $ 3 million a month.
Sampaoli, currently 65, was announced by Atletico on September 2. It is the second passage of the coach in the club. Between 2020 and 2021, he led the Rooster in 44 matches, with 26 wins, eight draws and ten losses – 64.44%success, winning the 2020 Mineiro Championship.
