Chelsea was punished by FA (the England Football Association) by 74 rules of rules related to the work of agents and investments in players. The actions would have occurred between 2009 and 2022, most about the management of Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.
Current US Chelsea owners discovered potential problems and quickly reported the infractions to the FA. According to a Daily Mail story, they would all have happened before current management.
The British diary said that although the loss of points is a possible to apply, it is more likely that Chelsea is forced only to pay a fine.
The London club has until September 19 to respond to the allegations. The team board must reaffirm their cooperation with the entity to escape more severe punishment.
– The club has been demonstrating unprecedented transparency during the process, including complete access to the club’s financial data. We will continue to work in partnership with FA to complete this issue as efficiently as possible, ”said Chelsea in a statement.
In addition to the FA investigation, a separate action from the Premier League is underway.
